custom CDs

some private custom CDs for my albums. i would love to sell them but it's really hard to make one copy since i have to do all the stuff by hand (cropping, glueing, etc.), making the booklet is probably the hardest.

NOTE: this page might take a while to load, so please be patient.

title: came sun to theme
stuff: jewel case, 2-page booklet
notes: first "allyxD" custom CD

title: music for untitled arachnid specimens
stuff: jewel case, 6-page booklet
notes: none

title: and they were okay
stuff: 2xCD, 6-page booklet, triple gatefold sleeve
notes: since i don't have double CD cases, i had to design my own. before the current one i made another one but it's too tiny so the booklet and CDs can't fit. i know this looks horrible (the tiny one looks worse), but trust me, it's really damn hard to make it. plus, i should've used those thick papers (idk what they're called) instead of cardboard but i don't have any.

title: phlaps
stuff: jewel case, 2-page booklet
notes: first custom CD with transparent tray. i kinda ruined it because the inside of the traycard isn't really centered (as you can see in image 5).

title: transmit one
stuff: jewel case, 6-page booklet
notes: first custom CD with a catalog number [ALX001CD]. artwork is inspired by sleeve artwork of boards of canada - tomorrow's harvest and some booklet pages of squarepusher - feed me weird things

title: indigo compounds of the rotating room
stuff: 2xCD, 12-page booklet, double gatefold sleeve
notes: [ALX002CD] just like the and they were okay cd, the album was too big so i must use two discs. i tried to make a mini version of a double gatefold vinyl sleeve, hoping that it would be high quality...and i failed miserably. still, it is better than the and they were okay sleeve. the left panel holds the booklet and the right panel holds the two cds, with their own individual paper sleeves too.
